Mulberry and Sangria
This gorgeous color is a 1:1 mix of Mulberry and Sangria. I love them and love how you can play with colors and shades in this system. My nails look so good now it's like I don't wear nail polish all the time and I do🤭. I am so happy with this investment!
Just to add, this photo is with flash and only one layer, for reference only
Hibiscus + Ballerina
I mixed a color for the first time today and am thrilled with how it turned out! My mini and I have teamed up 💗. This is Hibiscus and Ballerina...hereinafter known as Ballerbiscus 😝
Iris + Quartz
My first attempt at mixing colors! Part iris, part quartz. I'm in love! 💜
Orchid + Sky
I ventured into mixing for the first time. I don't know if this has been done before, but it was Orchid and Sky. I love it 🥰 I call it 'Jewels' after my mum who passed away unexpectedly 2.5 years ago. Her favorite color was purple and since Mother's Day is coming up I thought about her a lot 💕 We both love tea too so I thought I'd show it off with my morning cup of tea and also in the sun because it glitters so beautifully 😍
Razzleberry + Marina Mist + Violet Sky + Ocean Rush + Emerald City
I think I broke my record and used 5 colors! I started with a mix of Razzleberry and Marina Mist, but when I realized it was pretty close to Mauve (which I also have and love) I decided it needed more. Then I mixed a mix of Violet Sky, Ocean Rush and Emerald City on top to blend the colors. Now it's love!
Ballerina + Boysenberry
So I painted my Christmas nails and then played around with a color mix. I liked this mix so much that I had to try it. It is a combination of ballerina and boysenberry. Even the cat likes it😊
Emerald city + Starry Night + touch of Obsidian
I'm not usually very good at mixing colors, but I really like this one.
Emerald City and Starry Night mixed with hints of Obsidian.
Fuchsia, Boysenberry, Rose Gold, Taffy
I'm in my fourth phase of self-isolation 😕 BUT sistaco helped me stay healthy! 😁
Who would have thought that mixing my six colors could create so many new and beautiful colors?! I had a lot of fun but had a hard time deciding on a color (it's only my second try).
I chose three of my mixes;
Ring finger: 2 parts Fuchsia, 1 part Boysenberry, 2 parts Rose Gold
Other fingers: 5 parts taffy to 3 parts boysenberry and an ombré blend on the thumb.
The toes were a mix of 5 parts Starry Night and 3 parts Fuchsia.
I could even admire them in beautiful sunshine on ☀️.
Also, I was determined to use up all my paints before ordering any more. Turns out my resolve isn't as strong as I thought it would be 😬 Six new colors are coming my way in a few weeks. I wonder how many more colors I can create then! 🤔
Ruby, Coffee
I tried mixing for the first time today and it accidentally matched the pants I was wearing 😂.
The ratio was 1:1 Ruby and Coffee
Ps. My job is still not the best but I can see that with every manicure I do I get a little bit more wear and tear. Hopefully I can make it look as perfect as some of you out there do.
Wisteria, Platinum and Boysenberry
My first attempt at mixing.
Here is Wisteria, Platinum and Boysenberry
I think I call it
The Matrix
Mixing a color to paint for decorative spider nails
Hibiscus and Marshmallow
This morning my second order of new colors is still on the way, so I decided to play with mixing colors. This is Hibiscus and Marshmallow - Classic application. I think it was a 50/50 mix. As you can see, I'm a bit messy about mixing 😊.
I love how pretty it turned out 💕💕💕
